No, that's ok. This will clear it up for anyone else.
Basically the forum is an RP, where, in this case, people who join become any Simpsons or Futurama character available.
You go into Character Canons and if the character you want is there, you make a character canon, following the instructions from the example one.
When I accept it, I'll lock it, move it to completed canons, and you can start making up your own Simpsons or Futurama storyline!
Is that enough info?

Yeah, I think so. I still might not understand some things though... Also, why are they called canons?

I don't know actually.. They were called that on several serious RPs, so I thought it sounded official.

Use one skin, interminglang two will just result in what you have now... a crap skin, which you don't want. Use one skin or the other.
